To choose love is to choose to risk pain,

A life of flowering growth for to love is to gain.

Love is like a flower beautiful to behold,

Love is the gift that can’t be bought or sold.

Love reaches out in kindness even at the risk of rejection,

Love speaks goodness and beauty a mirror of reflection.

Love faithfully and innocently believes in the very best,

Love leans its caring should to give timely rest.

Love brings harmony and spring to a love walk,

Spicing each day with happy caring love talk.

Love touches each spirit with a special glance of the eye,

Love looks to the heavens to seek the answers why.

Love goes that extra mile though the journey may be long,

Love always seeks out answers to right any wrong.

Love makes an extra effort to bring joy to all it embraces,

Love puts out the garbage and stoops to tie shoelaces.

Love simply does what needs to be done to give others pleasure,

For to love for love sake is the greatest of all treasure.
