Brooklake food drive and thanks | Federal Way letters

Each year the students of Brooklake Christian School in Federal Way are encouraged to think of others during the holiday season. Our students were asked to confront the challenge of feeding the hungry and partnered with the Edgewood Community Food Bank serving Pierce County. Our goal of "Building Character, Achieving Excellence" is best demonstrated as our students to learn to give back to the community.

Students gathered donations from family, friends and neighbors. Donations were of cash and non-perishable items including soups, pasta, baby food, canned meats and vegetables. During a short period of time, BCS students did an outstanding job and were able to gather over 3,000 items for the food bank.
