I liked the letter to the editor on Aug. 8 by Scott Lee ("Puget Sound and environmental rhetoric"). He pointed out how environmentalists want us to stop washing our cars in order not to pollute Puget Sound, while at the same time Canadians are dumping billions of gallons of raw sewage into the Sound. His reasoning was straight forward and easy to understand. Now I would like to ask him to write a similar letter on CO2 emissions. We are trying to kill off our economy with legislation called “cap and trade” while at the same time China and India are dumping tons and tons of CO2 into the air.
