Scouts need your help at Camp Kilworth | Federal Way letters

The Boy Scouts of America in Federal Way is working to prepare Camp Kilworth for summer activities. We are currently in need of support to prepare the camp. Due to the recent economic slowdown, we have been hard hit and need your help to give the boys the experience of a lifetime.

If anyone could help with the following, it’d be greatly appreciated: Hay bales, portable toilets, lawn mowing equipment (portable mower, trimmers, etc.), carpet, linoleum, paint for caretaker’s home (glossy, water-based), drain cleaning service, and 2x12 lumber for seats at the campfire.

Please consider donating one of these items or even contributing money to help purchase these. Without your help, we will not be able to run camp this summer in Federal Way. The gift of your time or donation allows boys in the Federal Way area to experience summer camp conveintly close to home.

We will be holding a work party Saturday, June 20, at the camp. E-mail danebergman@hotmail.com for more information.
