Death with Dignity language | Federal Way letters, March 25

Please use non-biased language when referring to the Death with Dignity Act and patient decisions.

"Suicide" indicates the person has a choice about dying or living and suggests a negative value judgement. The person is dying; the new law just gives him or her some end-of-life choices.

Peggy O'Connor, Auburn
