To owners of large objects
I think Terry O’Day is confused (letters, Aug. 13).
1. Normal people don’t own an RV.
2. Apparently when he purchased the RV, he failed to consider all the costs of ownership of an object so large it didn’t fit on his property.
3. RVs parked in front of homes for more than a few days on public streets can be cited per city code.
4. I’m pretty sure parking an RV in front of one’s house is a sure way to bring down or slow the home value growth of one’s home and all the homes around it.
Signs of the times in FW
Century Palisades sign: 40-year-old historic neighborhood sign gets chopped down for $100.
Federal Way pays lots of dollars for signs to identify historic old streets.
I think there are a few gaps in the communication process exhibited by our “leaders.” What about the Wynstone faded banners and two monument signs that appear to be larger than 32 square feet along SW Campus Drive? I hope the definition of “sign” includes its surrounding mounting and display construction.
