Many reasons to elect Martin Moore | Election letters

Many reasons have been given as to why Martin Moore should be elected to the Federal Way City Council, but to me his most important ones are his dedication to his community and his desire to make a positive difference in the community he grew up in.

He went off to college, but instead of moving on, he came back to serve in AmeriCorps where he worked to help school children in Federal Way Public Schools.

He now serves on the city’s park commission, where he has advocated for recognition of the needs of children with disabilities in our city parks and playgrounds. He truly believes when it comes to the community that he serves that “All should really mean all” when it comes to the public he serves.

He also strongly supports, and will work for, the development of the civic center and our downtown business core. Where other candidates for the city council may see insurmountable obstacles, he sees them as challenges to be overcome.

We need leadership that is dedicated and committed to making Federal Way a better place to live. Please, vote for Martin Moore.

Bob Kellogg, Federal Way
