Cheney's 'big stick' versus big oil companies

A thought occurred to me regarding escalating gas prices.  Why don’t we have Dick Cheney meet with the oil barons in private as he did early in Bush’s first term? He might arrive in bird-hunting camouflage with a NRA-approved, semi-automatic assault rifle. Just in case, he could carry a concealed handgun permitted after the meeting by the president. His official briefcase would carry the old Teddy Roosevelt slogan: “Speak softly but carry a big stick.”
