Look past bias on moving library

Open letter to members of the King County Library Board:

Thank you for the opportunity to voice our opinion to not move the South 320th Library from its current location (April 15, “Debate over library location draws a crowd”). Ourselves and the majority of those attending felt the presentation was too oriented toward making the move. The moderator’s comments and questions seeking to find those who were in favor of moving seemed very biased. Judge (Richard) Eadie (Library Board member), when I was on the Guardian Certification Board with you, I don’t feel you would have allowed that to occur.

I hope all of you will review the transcript, because the comments written on the easel pages may be misinterpreted. If the board is truly interested in the desires of the individuals, instead of the master plan by the city of Federal Way and Sound Transit, the library will remain at the South 320th site.
