I would like to thank the businesses in Federal Way who permit the boys and girls in Camp Fire USA to sell at their business locations.

Our candy fund-raiser is one of the largest sources of funds for our council. Income from the candy fund-raiser provides program opportunities to over 22,000 boys, girls and their families. Our 2006 Camp Fire USA candy fund-raiser continues through Feb. 20.

The following Federal Way businesses are supporting the youth in our community by arranging times for boys and girls to sell at their places of business:

Albertsons, Bank of America, Blockbuster Video, Fred Meyer, G.I. Joe’s, JoAnn’s Etc., Longs Drug Stores, Metropolitan Market; Movies & More;

QFC, Rite-Aid, Safeway, Top Foods, U.S. Bank of Washington, Wal-Mart, Washington Mutual Bank, Washington state liquor stores and Walgreens.

Three dollars from every box goes to help boys and girls, in grades kindergarten through 12, participate in Camp Fire programs. If you haven’t yet had an opportunity to purchase your Camp Fire Mints, Almond Caramel Clusters or Almond Roca, you may go to our Web site –– www.campfirecandy.com –– and we will arrange delivery to your home.

Thank you to the community and the local businesses that support the youth in Camp Fire USA.
