Whining unions attack Wal-Mart

I noted, with interest, the news article titled “Up against the Wal-Mart” in the June 8 edition of the Mirror. I have further noted other cases of opposition to Wal-Mart facilities (Gig Harbor and Quebec, Canada). I have to wonder if the price of efficiency in the form of lower prices to the masses is opposition by unions?

Wal-Mart is efficient because it has worked at becoming efficient. It has also caused competition to become efficient. Are we to wreck this drive for efficiency with whining unions at a time when we are allowing foreign goods to enter this country almost duty-free and foreign workers (illegal aliens) to take over this country?
