Bush would hurt own schools policy
June 13, 2008 · Updated 4:43 PM
As a teacher, I know that we are doing our part to leave no child behind. We are teaching, testing, going over data with a fine-tooth comb, and then reteaching and retesting. We may not agree with the No Child Left Behind policy, but we are following it to the letter of the law.
In light of President Bushs promise to the American people to leave no child behind, I find it unconscionable that he is proposing deep cuts to education in his new budget.
