Reader Feedback

From: William Cadwallader:

I was a longtime resident of Washington (I am now living in Australia with my husband/life partner) and still keep up on the local news from Washington, and I recently read your news article (March 9, “King County’s same-sex marriage argument goes statewide”) by staff writer Erica Hall on gay marriage. I would like to thank you for writing a professional article that was truly based on fact and was well-presented. It is good to know that good writing is still possible in this day when personal bias seems to take precedence over professionalism. I am very much hoping that gay marriage does become legal in Washington in the near future. If it does, when my partner and I go back to Washington next year, that will be a top priority for our trip. Once again, thank you for your professionalism and well-written article. I could only hope that more writers would write articles on gay topics and be able to write them as well as you have without prejudice, bias or hatred.
