Put scooters in their right, safer place

I agree witht the proposition that motorized scooters should be banned from public aras like parks, trails, parking lots, sidewalks and pedestrian corridors (July 7 news article, “Motorized scooters just too bad”).

Scooters should also only be used by those 16 years of age or older, and they should wear propor safety gear, like a helmet. Also, people using moterized scooters should falow all the same traffic laws as cars do when they are using the scooters. As a result, there will be decreased danger to those people riding these motorized scooters and the city will be a safer place.
