In regards to the “Church and city need reality check” letter Nov. 22 by Aloise McDonald:

People are passionate about many things. If anyone knows Casey Treat, they know he is passionate about helping people. He doesn’t add things to his schedule to “build up his ego.”

I’m sure church members from different churches will agree that we live on this Earth to help people. If people are not willing to step out and help people, then they need to stop complaining about those that are making a difference in the community.

There are vacant buildings, office spaces, etc. all over Federal Way right now –– plenty of room for new business. Until they get used, I don’t see a reason for the 47 acres to be used for business. Having Christian Faith Center there will bring in business to restaurants, coffee shops, stores and hotels/motels, etc. in Federal Way.
