Community came through

I would like to once again thank our community. Again, you have helped make the Special Olympics bowling tournament a huge success.

Secoma Lanes continued with its support in helping our Lions Club put on this event. Marie Callender’s restaurant and the Federal Way Senior Center were so gracious in donating the food for our volunteers and coaches. Contributions from our local businesses –– Federal Way Auto License, Insure NW, Inc. and others –– helped us put on this event.

The community, with its support of all our fund-raising efforts, is greatly appreciated.

Finally, and most important of all, I would like to thank our army of volunteers, including our current state representative and former mayor, Skip Priest. Without your desire to help serve our community, this could not have taken place.

There are no words that can express my appreciation to all of you that helped make this a truly special day for some of our Federal Way residents. On behalf of the Federal Way Knights Lions Club, I thank you and hope you will continue to support this worthy cause again next year.

David Bryan

Club president
