FW schools now national laughingstock

Open letter to Earl VanDorien of the Federal Way School Board:

I appreciate your endeavors to get the Federal Way school district national attention, but don’t you think that academic achievement would have been a better way than making us the laughing stock of the country?

Not since the Kansas school board banned science a few years ago has a school board been this ignorant, blindly unilateral, spineless and just plain stupid. Enjoy you re-runs of “Bambi” (G), and remember, even the ostrich has to unstick its head from the sand on occasion and see the world for what it is.
