As a senior and co-captain for the Federal Way High School dance team, it is very evident that our dance team, consisting of 24 girls, was eager and ready to perform at the state competition. This was the last and most important competition for this school year, and was held on March 15 at the Sundome in Yakima.

Our team has come far this year and was recently named by the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association as the 4A class Academic State Championsm attaining a grade point average of 3.63. I am very proud of the girls. What a great opportunity this can be to show your support for our cities’ activities and sports programs.
