Due to the unfortunate shutdown of Federal Way patio furniture maker Dave Hamlin, the Greater Federal Way Kiwanis Club has lost one of its major fund-raisers.

Thanks to our city compliance police, we have lost between $2,000 and $3,000 of our funding money we use to support the senior center, scholarships for high school seniors, Relay for Life, Special Olympics softball tournament and many more events.

Thanks a lot.

Wayne Moritz, Past president, Greater Federal Way Kiwanis Club
