I just wanted to say that I was so impressed and happy to be part of the Veterans Day observance at Todd Beamer High School, beginning with the Todd Beamer Wind Ensemble (amazing) and the exceptional vocals of the Harmony Kings Barbershop Chorus.

I must say when the cadets and AFJROTC presented colors and honored POW/MIA soldiers with a table that was set for our “heroes,” there were quite a few tears that were shed.

The applause and standing ovations were really a testimony to how well this event was put on. It will be something I will attend annually, and would suggest not missing it next year.

Thanks so much for all the hard work that was put into this event, and thank you to our veterans.
