Thoughts on shooting coyotes in Federal Way | Letters

September 25, 2012 · Updated 3:01 PM

In the police blotter, there was a report of an officer dispatching a coyote on 320th Street.

Two things: number one, the main diet of coyotes is rats. Rats will prove to be a far greater problem than coyotes. Ask Bainbridge Island.

And number two, I really don't like the discharge of weapons in this neighborhood. We have enough trouble with the discharge of weapons, without unnecessary police discharges.
