Fire levy will maintain quality service | Letters
July 20, 2012 · Updated 11:34 AM
We are fortunate to have many advantages in our community, one of the most important being the quality of our fire protection and emergency services.
South King Fire and Rescue is asking for our help to keep it that way. Recent dollar cutbacks have already forced a reduction in personnel, and further reduction would result in a significantly adverse effect upon their vital services.
If you have ever had a friend or relative assisted by the EMTs, you know how important their care can be, and the quality of our fire department saves us all money in reduced insurance premiums.
Please join us in voting for the maintenance levy requested by South King Fire and Rescue.
