Federal Way schools love salmon | Letters

May 10, 2012 · Updated 5:15 PM

We are pleased to read that more schools are starting to be involved with “restoring the salmon” project.

At Spring Valley Montessori School here in Federal Way, as part of our environmental studies, our students have been raising salmon from eggs and releasing them as fingerlings to the West Hylebos Creek that runs through our campus. Our upper elementary students help the younger students (ages preschool and up) in this most rewarding project.
