Thanks for supporting MLK Food Drive | Letters

January 27, 2012 · Updated 4:32 PM

I would like to thank the members of the Diversity Commission, local area high school students and teachers, city staff members and the community for their efforts and support of the MLK Food Drive, which was held on Saturday, Jan. 14.

Hunger can impact anyone at any point in their life, so it was refreshing to see so many out there making a difference.

Thanks again and please remember that local food banks need your help all year round.

Bob Danielle, chairman, Federal Way Diversity Commission
