Kiwanis Club of Federal Way will proudly host its 55th Kiwanis Salmon Bake from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday July 29, at Steel Lake Park.

This annual event’s proceeds go to serve the community, especially its youth, and is Federal Way’s longest standing summer tradition.

The salmon is cooked by well known caterer John Hatcher and includes salad, corn and other condiments along with coffee or cold drinks. Hot dogs are also available for those not wanting a full dinner.

As it has been for over a half century, the Kiwanis Salmon Bake is the place for the community to gather and share an evening of good fellowship, live entertainment, auction, raffle and the taste of savory baked salmon.

Tickets can be obtained at the event, by contacting a Kiwanis Club of Federal Way member or emailing kelloggbandm@yahoo.com. They will also be sold on July 16 at the Federal Way Farmers Market.

We look forward to seeing you at the 55th annual Kiwanis Salmon Bake.

Bob Kellogg, Federal Way
