Letters to the Editor

Show more progress in Federal Way | Letters

I have been a resident of Federal Way since 2006 and I have been disappointed with the lack of progress this city has made.

Last year for mayor, I voted for Jim Ferrell even though I am a Democrat because I appreciated his effort to allow me to vote who should lead the city.

Frankly, since I have lived in Federal Way, nothing seems to ever get done. I read briefly about Keith Tyler running for city council. I am for fresh, new ideas too. This city can use a political outsider with a perspective that is from an outsider’s point of view. Maybe then, my voice will be heard. My vote goes to anyone who can think outside of the box and represent everyday citizens like me. I would like to read more about Keith Tyler. This is the first time I felt like writing to my local paper because a new face wants to run for a council position. This gives me some hope that maybe the city can finally have a downtown, a community garden and new ideas.
