Christmas House thanks helpers | Federal Way letters

Christmas House 2010 served 799 families (2,114 children) from Dec. 20-22 in South King County. Parents, screened by the Multi-Service Center, were able to shop for gifts for their children in the gym of Steel Lake Presbyterian Church. Thank you to The Commons mall for hosting the Giving Tree. Thanks to the many individual volunteers who contributed time and/or gifts.

Thank you, too, to the many organizations who participated: Advancing Leadership, Arthur Murray Dance Studio, Belmor Park, Bikes for Kids, Billy McHale’s, Boy Scouts (troops 366 and MVPC), Brown’s Point United Methodist Church, Calvary Lutheran, Christ Lutheran, Christian Faith Center, Federal Way students, Federal Way Women’s Club, Foundation House, Greater Federal Way Kiwanis, Hearts and Hands, Lifespring Foursquare, Lifeway Church, Madrona Specialty Foods, Marine View Presbyterian Church, Mission Woods Presbyterian, Nine Lakes Baptist, Northwest Foursquare, Orion Industries, South King Fire and Rescue, St. Luke’s Church, St. Theresa’s, St. Vincent’s, Stadium High School, Steel Lake Presbyterian, Sterling Bank, Sunrise Methodist, Thomas Jefferson High School Key Club, Twin Cedars Park, Unity Church of Edgewood, Village Green, Wayside Church (Zeta Phi Sorority), Wal-Mart, Weyerhaeuser and Woodstone Credit Union.
