How amazing to read the Hundrups' remarks (Nov. 13) about guest columnist Bill Pirkle.

They don't want students helped. One is a teacher, very hard to understand, and their two children difficult to deal with. Always the pot calling the kettle black. Mr. Pirkle has too much common sense for them to comprehend. I always understand and encourage his views. I hope he continues to help the students. Teachers and school board members should remember why they are there: To teach kids and not to keep their jobs.
