Email to city leads to fixed street problem | Letter

I finally got tired of hitting a hole in one of our streets and emailed city Public Works Director Marwan Salloum, told him where it was, and requested that he fix it. He dispatched a crew to fill it, and the hole disappeared. Hooray! One down, but there are more, to which drivers in Federal Way can readily attest. Since Mr. Salloum has demonstrated a willingness to tackle these street nuisances, I believe a cooperative effort between our residents and Mr. Salloum’s office could result in fewer holes in our streets.
