Here we go again. Our City Council just wasted a quick $100,000 on a campaign to find a new city logo. After wasting the money, they decided to keep the old logo.

I have to ask: Why not just have a local contest for citizens to submit their ideas for a new logo, with a grand prize of $5K for the winner? You see, I am just an average schmuck, and my idea would have saved us $95,000.

This out-of-touch mentality and fiscal irresponsibility of elected leaders is exactly why voters put Donald Trump in the White House.

It is time to “drain the swamp” in Federal Way also.
