William M. Rutledge, a native son of Richmond Beach and longtime Federal Way resident, passed away peacefully at his home on Jan. 30, 2011. He was 81.

Survived by his children: Wayne, Gary and Cheryl. Rutledge, an Army Veteran, served two “hitches” with Uncle Sam. He recently retired from Prudential Northwest Realty. Services will be held at Tahoma National Cemetery on at 2:30 p.m. Feb 18. Donations to the American Lung Society appreciated.
