JoAnn B. (Roberts) Keeney, born 8/03/1943 to Bruce J. and Martha A. (Heitsmith) Roberts in San Francisco, CA, passed from this life July 28, 2012 with her loving family by her side. JoAnn graduated from San Jose State College in 1966 and then was a dietitian in the Air Force until 1970. She then married and became the consummate wife and mother. After her children started school, she took a job with the King County Library System, retiring after 16 years. She loved travel and books. She will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by husband Kurt, son Bob & daughter-in-law Valerie, daughter Molly, brother Bill Roberts & his partner Peggy Goshgarian, sister MaryLou Vanderberg, niece Nelli and nephew Charles, and many loving cousins and friends. Interment will be at Mt Tahoma National Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Federal Way Senior Center September 8 at 5 PM.
