Smith dropping out of council race

Longtime resident Randall Smith announced Wednesday he was dropping out of the Federal Way City Council race. In a brief statement, Smith said he needs to be “focused on personal matters and not a campaign.”

Smith initially declared his intention of running for council in February but had yet to name a position.
