Robbery suspects flee after attempted rape at Federal Way business

The suspects attempted to rape victim at gunpoint and strangled her.

Police are searching for two suspects who robbed a Federal Way business and attempted to rape a woman at gunpoint on Sunday.

At approximately 6:50 p.m., officers responded to the incident in the 31000 block of Pacific Highway S. of an undisclosed business.

Police discovered that two subjects had entered the business multiple times asking about rates and services, according to the Federal Way police report.

The subjects then robbed and attempted to rape the victim at gunpoint, striking her in the head with the butt of a pistol, the report continues. They repeatedly punched her in the stomach and strangled her.

The suspects fled with $300 cash, two cell phones and the victim’s bag containing keys, her ID and a credit card.

Police are investigating the case but have limited suspect information, according to the police report.
