An officer-involved shooting took place Friday afternoon at Starbucks on Southwest Dash Point Road in Federal Way. An officer was attempting a drug arrest in the coffee shop’s parking lot and fatally shot one suspect who appeared to reach for a weapon while in a vehicle, according to police. The driver fled the scene and is still at large, police said.
