National Night Out: Sign up your neighborhood today

The annual National Night Out crime prevention and neighborhood gathering will take place 6 to 9 p.m. Aug. 3. Neighborhoods are free to organize their own event. Police officers will visit to discuss crime and crime prevention upon request. Events sometimes include potlucks, games and an opportunity to discuss crime and block watch opportunities.
