Driver dies in T-bone collision at SW 336th St. and 21st Ave. S.

Federal Way police report that a Tacoma resident was killed in a two-vehicle collision Tuesday. The accident occurred about 4:09 p.m. June 8 in the 2300 block of SW 336th Street at 21st Avenue South in Federal Way.

The Tacoma resident, 59, exited the parking lot on the north side of SW 336th Street, according to a police report. The driver was turning eastbound across westbound traffic and was struck by a vehicle in the inside lane headed westbound in a t-bone type collision, according to the report. A passenger in the first vehicle and the driver of the second vehicle were transported to St. Francis Hospital with minor injuries, according to the report.
