Federal Way seeks volunteers for a Korean advisory group. Ten volunteers are needed to serve as a part of the 15-member Korean Advisory Committee. The committee is a part of a larger network of individuals who will help Koreans in the community connect with one another and the city. The city’s new Korean liaison, Jee Kim, will assist with the program.
Volunteers of varied backgrounds and ethnicities will be accepted. Business owners, agency representatives and individuals are welcome, regardless of age. Already, five individuals have volunteered to become a member of the advisory committee. To volunteer, contact Kim at (253) 835-2655 (for English) and (253) 835-2605 (for Korean) or e-mail jee.kim@cityoffederalway.com.
