Gang violence prevention meeting Feb. 10

A gang/youth crime prevention meeting will take place 6:30 to 8 p.m. Feb. 10 at City Hall, 33325 8th Ave. S.

Attendees will get an overview of gang and youth crime in Federal Way. Details on the creation of a community action plan to address this type of crime will also be discussed.

Information on why gang activity takes place, how to recognize it and how to prevent and report gang violence will be provided. Information about available support resources for youth and families will also be available.
