Diver dies Sunday at Redondo

Medics were called to Redondo on Sunday morning to assist a diver who became short of breath while standing in shallow water.
The diver, a male in his 40s whose name was not available, required CPR and died at the scene, said Kirsti Weaver, spokeswoman for South King Fire and Rescue. The death was not related to diving and his residence is unknown at this time, Weaver said.
