FW Regional Library closes March 16 for renovations; temporary locations available

The Federal Way Regional Library will be closed beginning Monday, March 16, for expansion to a newly remodeled 35,000-square-foot library.

During the closure, residents are invited to use the Federal Way 320th Library at 848 S. 320th St., a full-service library offering information services, programs, holds pickup, wireless access, public computers, laptops for use in the library and book drops. The library will add hours on Sundays, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., starting March 22.

Two additional temporary locations will also be available:

• The Commons at Federal Way, South 320th Street and Pacific Highway South. 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. Services include browsing collection, librarians, holds pickup, wireless access, book returns during open hours, copier and seven computer terminals.

• Panther Lake Elementary School, 34424 1st Ave. S. 5 to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Services involve holds pickup only.
