State rep. race: Priest widens lead in District 30; Miloscia re-elected

As of Thursday, Republican State Rep. Skip Priest widened the lead in his re-election bid for District 30.

About 1,000 votes separate Priest from Democratic challenger Carol Gregory. Priest has 12,987 votes, or 52.16 percent. Gregory has 11,898 votes, or 47.79 percent.

In the other District 30 state representative race, Democratic incumbent Mark Miloscia won re-election with 67.02 percent of the vote. Republican challenger Michael Thompson received 32.89 percent.

Election results will be officially certified Nov. 25. Check out http://www.kingcounty.gov/elections for more information.
