School lunch prices increase in Federal Way

Due to rising food and fuel costs, the Federal Way School District is raising school meal prices. Breakfast prices will increase 25 cents per meal and lunch prices will increase 50 cents per meal.

Elementary students will pay $2.50 for lunch and middle and high school students will pay $2.75. The cost of breakfast at all schools will be $1.50.

The next feature in the city’s free Outdoor Cinema Series is is “National Treasure: Book of Secrets” at 8:30 p.m. Aug. 29 at Steel Lake Park, 2410 S. 312th St.
