Federal Way legislative candidates get favorable ratings from Municipal League

The Municipal League recently released its 2014 candidate ratings, with Federal Way's batch of candidates all receiving favorable ratings.
For the 30th District Position 1 state legislative seat, candidate Gregory Baruso (D) received a rating of "good" from the Municipal League, while incumbent Linda Kochmar (R) received a "very good" designation. The Municipal League rated both Position 2 candidates, Jack Dovey (R) and Roger Freeman (D), as "good." Finally, the candidates for the state Senate position, Mark Miloscia (R) and Shari Song (D), received "very good" ratings.
The Municipal League rates candidates on a scale from "outstanding" to "not qualified," with "very good" the second-best rating and "good" the third-best. According to the organization, "the ratings are not endorsements," and "they assess each candidate's potential to be effective in office and ability to serve the community."
