Mirror staff reports:

Federal Way police seek assistance in finding a 51-year-old woman who walked away from a residential care facility early Wednesday morning.

Pamela Joy Sauro, 51, left the facility between 4 a.m. and 5 a.m. Sept. 11 in the 29900 block of 2nd Place SW. She was seen around 5:15 a.m. near the facility, then again at 9:30 a.m. near Albertsons grocery store on Pacific Highway South.

Sauro's height is 5 feet 1 inch, and she weighs about 160 pounds. She has gray hair and brown eyes, and was seen wearing a knee-length pink nightgown. She suffers from a severe medical condition and has mental impairment, according to police. Anyone who sees Sauro is asked to call 911.

"She's still out there and we're putting in lots of effort to locate her," said police spokeswoman Cathy Schrock.
