FW police beat South King firefighters in charity basketball | PHOTOS

The Federal Way Lions, Federal Way Police and South King Fire and Rescue held their 5th Annual Helen Keller Basketball Challenge on April 13 at Decatur High School. (SEE PHOTOS)

Police outplayed the firefighters, 51-33, in the charity matchup. Proceeds from food and raffle sales at the event will benefit the Federal Way Lions Foundation for sight and hearing. Other programs that will benefit include the Federal Way Police Explorers program and SKFR’s aid fund.

Entertainment included the Todd Beamer Air Force Junior ROTC performing a drill exhibition and presentation of the colors; taekwondo acrobatics by Master Na’s Black Belt Academy; the Thomas Jefferson High School Band; and Decatur High School cheerleaders.
