Mirror staff reports:

Three suspects are in custody following an alleged armed robbery and police pursuit Saturday morning in Federal Way.

At 11 a.m. April 6, Federal Way police received a call about an armed robbery in the 3000 block of South 288th Street at Camelot Square.

The robbery victim was hit in the head, causing a minor injury, according to police.

One suspect fled on foot. When a Federal Way officer located another suspect's vehicle near South 288th Street, it is believed the suspect rammed the officers vehicle to get away, and a pursuit ensued toward an area west of State Route 167. The pursuit ended on South 277th Street near SR 167.

Police say the suspect crashed the vehicle and that the officer's vehicle ended up in a ditch. The officer was taken to St. Francis Hospital for observation, according to police.

Detectives are investigating the case and believe the three suspects could be connected to similar robberies in the area, according to police.
