High-risk sex offender joins others in town

Mirror staff

Police are notifying Federal Way residents that a Level 3 sex offender has registered his address in the 1400 block of South 303rd Street in Federal Way.

Darrell Stallone, 36, is described as a white male, 5 feet 6 inches, 145 pounds, with hazel eyes and brown hair.

Stallone was convicted of two counts of first-degree rape and a count of second degree robbery after he and an accomplice abducted and repeatedly raped a young woman in 1984. Neither of them knew the woman.

Stallone received an exceptional sentence in Pierce County for the predatory nature of the rapes. He declined to participate in sex offender treatment and is considered a high risk to re-offend.

Stallone is the fourth sex offender to register in Federal Way since Jan. 2002.

Eric Crandell, 20, a Level 3 sex offender, registered his address in the 33400 block of 26th Avenue Southwest in Jan. 2002. In March 2002, he moved to Yakima, according to the King County Sheriff’s Office sex offender registration office.

Leroy York, 54, a Level 3 sex offender, registered in the 33200 block of 26th Place Southwest in Feb. 2002. He moved to Lakewood in March 2002.

Justin Rollins, 25, a Level 1 sex offender, registered as homeless in the city in July 2002 and moved to Auburn last February.
