A man accused of stabbing his wife repeatedly during an argument at their Federal Way home on Feb. 23 is in custody.

Fanoalii Siaki Oto, 23, turned himself in to Federal Way Police with his attorney last Monday, according to police spokesman Kurt Schwan. Police have forwarded the case to the King County prosecuting attorney.

Oto was arrested on suspicion of stabbing his 26-year-old wife several times in the neck, legs and stomach and then fleeing in their car.

The woman, whose name is being withheld, was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle last Sunday, where she remained in serious condition this week.
