Man shot after leaving night spot

Federal Way Police are looking for the person who shot a man in the back as he was leaving Café Arizona last Sunday.
Police officers were flagged down about 4:20 a.m. Dec. 29 and told there had been a shooting in the parking lot near the Dennys restaurant on South 320th Street.
When they arrived, they found the man in his car with a gunshot wound to the upper right part of his back and an exit wound under his left arm.
The man told police he was leaving Café Arizona and driving through the parking lot near Dennys to get on South 320th when he was shot.
He was transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle for treatment. Police did not release his identity pending notification of his family.
The suspect was driving a vehicle described as a red compact car with an unknown number of occupants, police said. Authorities did not release a physical description of the suspect.
BThe shooting was the second this winter at Café Arizona, a popular night club downtown.
The last shooting happened in the night clubs parking lot about 3:50 a.m. Nov. 10. The male victim suffered a gunshot wound to the upper chest. Witnesses told police the shooting occurred after an altercation between the victim, the shooter and another man.
The suspect in that case was described as a black male adult, about 5 feet, 8 inches tall, bald with a heavy build. The person with him was described as a black male adult, about 5 feet, 10 inches tall, and slender. They were last seen leaving the area in a dark-colored SUV.
